Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet seeks an Internal Registry Registered Nurse (RN) to join the ICU on a nights PRN assignment. The 12-week role offers $57.50 per hour with ongoing staffing evaluations.

You’ll provide direct patient care, assess and respond to changes, and collaborate with physicians while protecting patient privacy. Requirements include an active state RN license, BLS, ACLS, preferred CC RN, ICU experience, and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Critical Care Course completion preferred.
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in ICU.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other staff.
• Communicate with physician about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
