CHRISTUS Children's in San Antonio, TX seeks an experienced RN for a temporary full-time role with 3/12-hour night shifts (7PM–7AM). The nurse will apply the nursing process to care for perinatal patients, delegate appropriately, and educate families while coordinating with the care team.

Required: BSN preferred, 1 year related nursing experience, BLS, RN license (state or compact), STABLE and NRP certifications. New hire orientation and competency validation are part of onboarding.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS required.
• RN License in state of employment or compact.
• STABLE certification required.
• NRP certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Utilizes the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Addresses complex psychosocial needs of patients and families.
• Administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms and care given.
• Educates patients and families; identifies learning needs and resources.
