Job summary

Air Methods CBS in Prescott, AZ seeks a seasoned Clinical Flight Crew member with 3+ years of busy 911 experience to deliver high-quality pre-hospital advanced life support from scene to hospital handoff.

You’ll operate in state-of-the-art helicopters, participate in pre-mission briefings, liftoff checklists, and ongoing education with our Medical Directors, while maintaining strict safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years related experience or training
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ recent experience in a busy 911 system
• Previous critical care transport and flight experience a plus
• License requirements: EMT-P with state licensure; NIMS training may be required

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support from initial contact to handoff at accepting facility
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation
• Participate in pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings
• Report equipment failures and ensure availability of supplies onboard aircraft
• Adhere to safety standards and assist in liftoff checklists and navigation duties
• Support neonatal/pediatric transports as needed
• Participate in outreach, education, and departmental activities
