Job summary

Air Methods is seeking an experienced Paramedic to join the Arizona CBS-based team. You will deliver pre-hospital advanced life support in high‑acuity settings, perform patient assessments, and ensure timely documentation while collaborating with flight crews.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in busy 911 systems, EMT-P license, and flight/critical care transport experience is a plus; willingness to travel to local bases as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus at least three years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred.
• Minimum three years’ recent experience in a busy 911 system.
• Previous critical care transport and flight experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support from initial contact to hand off at the receiving facility; document patient care.
• Work within scope defined by state and Air Methods CBS; maintain competency through ongoing training and education.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, continuing education, and safety trainings; attend six educational programs per year.
• Ensure equipment readiness, report failures, and keep supplies on board for rapid response.
• Participate in patient follow-up, outreach, and education activities; accompany mission briefs and debriefs as required.
