Job summary

Air Methods CBS in Goodyear, AZ seeks an experienced Paramedic to join the Clinical Flight Crew. Provide high-level pre-hospital life support, triage, and treatment, while following medical director guidance and CBS standards.

Expect ongoing education with support for advancement and 24/7 on-call rotation. The role requires state-registered EMT-P, 3+ years of busy 911 experience, and preferred bachelor’s degree in a health-related field.

Qualifications

• EMT-P license required or currently certified
• Minimum three years’ recent experience in a busy 911 system
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in health-related field
• Prior critical care transport and flight experience a plus
• Current BLS/CPR; ACLS; PALS or equivalent airway certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support from first contact to transfer of care
• Adhere to state scope of practice and Air Methods CBS standards
• Maintain documentation for licensure, certifications, and education
• Participate in mission liftoff checklists and assist pilots as needed
• Ensure safety of patient, crew, and equipment at all times
• Attend pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings
