Job summary

Air Methods Clinical seeks a qualified Clinical Flight Crew member to deliver pre-hospital advanced life support in Arizona bases and travel to local, regional locations as needed.

You will operate within the CBS Medical Director guidelines, maintain equipment, document care, and participate in mission briefings and debriefings. A strong background in 911 and critical care transport is preferred, with flexibility for local travel and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years in a busy 911 system.
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred.
• Minimum three years’ recent 911 system experience.
• Previous critical care transport/flight experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support from first contact to handoff at medical facility.
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation.
• Adhere to base-specific scope of practice and ongoing education requirements.
• Maintain and inspect medical equipment and supplies onboard aircraft.
• Participate in pre-mission briefings, liftoff checklists and debriefings.
• Support neonatal/pediatric transports as needed and act as clinical resource.
