Northwest Health - Porter is seeking a Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide basic nursing care under supervision in an acute care setting. This program targets newly graduated nurses transitioning to professional practice, delivering patient care, administering treatments, and supporting patient education to promote recovery, safety, and well-being.

Competenze

• Graduate nurses eligible to apply; entry-level acute care experience.
• RN licensure required by state; BCLS certified.
• Strong clinical nursing knowledge and patient care skills.
• Ability to document accurately and follow protocols.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, collaborating with experienced RNs and healthcare teams.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with protocols.
• Perform patient assessments, documenting vital signs, patient responses, and any changes in condition promptly in the EMR.
• Provide patient and family education, addressing basic care, procedures, and treatment plans to promote understanding and adherence.
• Support patient mobility, personal hygiene, and daily living activities, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, reporting changes in patient conditions to supervising RNs.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, patient safety guidelines, and hospital policies to maintain a safe care environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
