The Northwest-Health-Porte is seeking a Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide basic nursing care under direct supervision in an acute care setting. This position is designed for newly graduated nurses transitioning into professional practice and focusing on patient safety and recovery.

Responsibilities include assisting in care plan implementation, administering medications, performing patient assessments, educating patients and families, and maintaining a safe and organized environment

Qualifikationen

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.

Aufgaben

• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans, collaborating with experienced RNs and healthcare teams.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with protocols.
• Perform patient assessments, documenting vital signs, patient responses, and any changes in condition promptly in the EMR.
• Provide patient and family education, addressing basic care, procedures, and treatment plans to promote understanding and adherence.
• Support patient mobility, personal hygiene, and activities of daily living, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, reporting changes in patient conditions to supervising RNs.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, patient safety guidelines, and hospital policies to maintain a safe care environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
