Job summary

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse for its Resource Team. This part-time role requires floating to multiple facilities within Zones 6–8 to support patient care across the system.

You will apply the nursing process, monitor patients, coordinate with the care team, ensure safety, document in EHR, and pursue ongoing professional development. RN licensure with BLS is required; BSN preferred; typical pay is $50.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where services are provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience; 2 years service-line RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains documentation in the EHR.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area as needed.
• Provide age-appropriate nursing care and adhere to department policies.
