Job summary

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse for Charlotte's Resource Team. The role requires floating to facilities including CMC, Mercy, Lake Norman, University, Cabarrus & Stanly.

You will deliver nursing care, participate in governance and quality initiatives, and document in the EHR. Minimum qualifications include RN license, BLS, and BSN preferred; typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience with opportunities for growth within a supportive team

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved education program.
• Current RN license in the state(s) of practice with multi-state or single-state privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation and ensures patient safety.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed.
