Aurora Health is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse to provide patient care across multiple Aurora facilities within the Milwaukee area. This role offers diverse, hands-on experience by rotating through different departments and units in a single health system.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse license in the practicing state.
BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
Completion of an accredited nursing program.
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
Proficient computer skills and EMR usage.

Responsibilities

Uses the nursing process to assess patient needs, plan and implement interventions and evaluate care.
Anticipates changes in patient condition and adjusts plan of care accordingly.
Implements strategies to reduce patient risk and increase safety.
Coordinates discharge planning with interdisciplinary team.
Communicates effectively and supports collaboration among staff.
Demonstrates leadership and delegates appropriately.
