Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Resource Float Pool RN to support ICU service lines, with experience in caring for critically ill patients and the ability to float between CVICU, SICU and MICU environments. The role may also support other hospital areas based on patient care and staffing needs.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong critical care skills, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and adherence to ANA standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience in ICU/critical care environments.
• Ability to float across ICU units as needed, maintaining high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' condition and nursing needs across ICU units.
• Coordinate and revise care plans with physicians and the care team.
• Provide patient and family education aligned with plan of care.
• Document care accurately in the EMR per hospital policy.
• Participate in handoffs, rounds, and safety initiatives to prevent adverse events.
