Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Resource Float Pool RN to support our ICU service lines, floating between CVICU, SICU, and MICU as needed. The RN should have experience with critically ill patients and be comfortable moving across ICU environments within the hospital.

Responsibilities include holistic assessments, care planning, SBAR communications, patient/family education, emergency response, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires Ohio RN license and critical care experience.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• BSN within five years of hire is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic patient assessments and collaborate with ICU team.
• Develop, coordinate, and revise the plan of care with SBAR communication.
• Provide ongoing, individualized education to patients and families.
• Respond to emergencies with immediate, precise actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and ensure patient safety.
