Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Resource Float Pool RN to support our ICU service lines. You will float between CVICU, SICU, and MICU, caring for critically ill patients and collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient and family-centered care, and safe, efficient care delivery across units. Ohio nursing licensure, BLS, ACLS training are required; MSN/DNP not required but encouraged for advancement.

Qualifications

• Proficient in providing age- and culturally appropriate patient care and education.
• Experience in critical care nursing and ICU float capabilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Performs and delegates nursing actions based on orders with critical thinking and accountability.
• Provides ongoing, individualized holistic patient and family education with the care team.
• Responds effectively to emergencies and maintains safety to prevent infection and transmission.
• Maintains documentation and participates in handoffs with accurate transfer of information.
• Participates in professional development and competency activities within the unit.
