Job summary

Tufts Medicine’s Lowell General Health System is seeking an RN for the Complex Care Unit. The RN will independently provide direct nursing care in a high-acuity setting in accordance with policies and procedures.

The position is located at the Main Campus ICU-G with a 36-hour night schedule (7 PM–7 AM). Weekend and holiday shifts are required as part of the role, including participation in care planning, discharge planning, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Department-specific certifications may be required for the patient population.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Integrates evidence-based practice into clinical care.
• Conducts and documents accurate clinical assessments.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans.
• Uses nursing judgment to tailor plans to patient needs.
• Manages patient assignments and delegates appropriately.
• Develops discharge plans and coordinates referrals.
• Precepts and supports staff growth.
