Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Critical Care Technician for the Intermediate Care Unit. The role supports patient safety, basic nursing care, and routine duties under RN direction in a full-time day shift.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year EMT/Military medic/PCA experience or two nursing clinical semesters, and CPR/BLS certification. Knowledge of English and strong observation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• One year prior experience as an EMT, military medic, PCA in an acute care or equivalent skill in long-term care setting.
• Successful completion of two clinical semesters of an accredited nursing school.
• AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides for safety aspects of patient care under RN supervision.
• Provides personal care including bathing, mouth care and incontinence care.
• Records intake/output and observes patients with timely reporting to RN.
