Qualifikationen

• Education: High school diploma or equivalency.
• Experience: One year prior experience as an EMT, military medic, PCA in an acute care or equivalent skill in long-term care setting, completion of a medical assistant program, or successful completion of two clinical semesters of an accredited nursing school.
• Other Credentials: AHA BLS.
• Non-Licensed must obtain before end of orientation period.

Aufgaben

• Provides for safety aspects of patient care.
• Provides personal care under the direction of the RN.
• Records accurate intake and output.
• Assists with nutrition and tube feedings.
• Performs phlebotomy and glucometer testing under supervision.
• Maintains a clean, organized environment.
• Notifies RN of any equipment malfunction.
