Job summary

Capital Health in Kentucky seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care across units. You will assist with bathing, feeding, mobility, and monitoring vital signs under RN supervision, while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: EMT, military medic, PCA in acute care or two clinical nursing semesters.
• Credentials: AHA BLS; CNA preferred or Capital Health UAP Training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with transfers, dressing, feeding, and daily activities.
• Collect specimens, perform glucometer tests, and document observations.
• Assist with post-mortem care and CPR under supervision.
• Maintain clean, organized unit and monitor equipment and logs.
