Job summary

Capital Health is hiring for a mid-shift CNA/UAP role. You will assist with patient care, transcription, monitoring, feeding, and safety under RN supervision in a 24-hour week schedule (1:00pm-1:30am, rotating weekends/holidays).

Requirements include a high school diploma and 1 year of related healthcare experience or CNA/EMT credentials. AHA BLS is required; non-CNA candidates may complete Capital Health UAP training within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: EMT, military medic, PCA in acute care, or nursing school clinicals.
• Credentials: AHA BLS; CNA preferred; Capital Health UAP training within 90 days if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under RN direction, assist with hygiene and mobility.
• Assist with safety, documentation, nutrition, and basic medical tasks.
• Perform phlebotomy, glucometer tests, and vital signs as trained.
• Follow CPR procedures under supervision and maintain unit supplies.
