Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking an Unit Coordinator to serve as a vital caregiver and central hub, managing patient care processes from newborn to geriatric for designated timeframes and acting as the primary receptionist and secretary.

You will support safe patient care through multidisciplinary processes and coordinate unit activities, handling information flow and assisting healthcare teams across all ages. Strong organization and communication are essential.

Qualificações

• Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program or Military medical specialty training.
• Certified Nursing Assistant: WA
• Basic Life Support - CPR
• Six months related work experience (preferred).
• Experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
• Experience in a specialty unit; CNA and Unit Coordinator experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides patient personal care/hygiene and physical comfort, including feeding, bathing, shaving, changing clothes, bed making, ambulation, lifting, turning, moving, transferring, skin care and bowel/bladder elimination.
• Performs, monitors, reports and documents clinical activities within scope of practice; observes changes and reports to RN.
• Assists in admission, discharge and transfer, including inventory, belongings, and transport.
• Checks, cleans and disinfects mobile non-critical medical equipment per standards; ensures proper contact time.
• Maintains a neat, organized work environment; orders and replenishes supplies; reports issues with supplies/equipment.
