Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Three years’ experience and clinical knowledge in the same or similar clinical specialty.
• Two years in a charge nurse/leadership or equivalent position.
• Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Manages and evaluates clinical operations, programs and resources to ensure safe, cost-effective patient care and compliant with policies/regulatory requirements.
• Plans, manages and evaluates work of clinical and administrative staff; ensures proper training and performance standards.
• Ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations; develops recommendations for standards or program changes.
• Participates in annual budget planning; monitors staffing and expenditures to meet budget goals.
• Works with management to implement consistent clinical practices and drives quality/performance improvement initiatives.
• Participates in development of strategies and programs addressing new services, standardization, and cost-effectiveness.
