Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Designer to perform basic technical duties under supervision. You will develop systems designs, conduct site surveys, and prepare client-aligned deliverables while coordinating with project teams to meet budgets and timelines.

Candidates should have an engineering degree or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years in related work and knowledge of ICT design standards such as TIA and BICSI.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5 years related industry experience preferred.
• Experience with ICT design in mission critical facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems designs within own discipline with minimal supervision.
• Performs site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists as required by project timelines.
• Prepares project deliverables per the client’s intent and scope of work in Stantec's proposal.
• Follows Stantec’s quality management process; reviews project deliverables before submitting to QA/QC reviewer.
• Actively participates in the engineering/professional community to build personal knowledge and professional growth.
• Meets or exceeds utilization goals and adheres to project budget.
