Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project ICT Designer to lead day-to-day design for Telecommunications, Security, and A/V systems in US West. The role requires collaboration across the Buildings team, hands-on development of construction documents, and frequent coordination with multiple project teams.

Experience in high-tech facilities is preferred. Hybrid home/office work is offered, with travel to client sites as needed and ability to meet site access and background check requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Engineering Technology or Telecommunications Engineering; 5 years' experience may substitute degree.
• At least 10 years' experience in the installation, maintenance or design of Technology Systems (Telecom, Security, A/V).
• Experience with design coordination and contract document development for building sectors like datacenter, healthcare, or science & technology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating schematic design and construction documents with emphasis on Telecom, Security, A/V.
• Building expertise with Revit and BIM modeling; perform site condition surveys.
• Review contract submittals and support multiple design teams to meet deadlines.
• Produce quality work using modern design methodologies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Willing to work on client sites and meet badging requirements.
