Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project ICT Designer for the US West to lead technical day-to-day design of Telecommunications, Security, and A/V construction documents. You will collaborate across the Buildings Mountain Engineering group, supporting high-tech facilities and datacenters.

The role requires willingness to work on client sites, meet badging requirements, and deliver innovative building technology solutions with a strong emphasis on coordination and design software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering required.
• 5 years' experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
• At least 10 years' experience in the installation and maintenance or design and specification of Technology Systems (Telecom, Security, A/V).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate schematic design and construction documents with emphasis on Telecom, Security, and A/V.
• Develop expertise in design software, preferably Revit and BIM modeling.
• Conduct site condition surveys and review submittals.
• Support multiple design teams and projects to deliver results.
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and client sites.
