Job summary

Best Maid Cookie Company in York, PA is seeking a production associate to manufacture icing and fillings, maintain inventory, and support line operations. You will monitor equipment, document batch details, and ensure safety and quality compliance in a fast-paced setting.

Candidates should be able to stand for long shifts, lift up to 100 lbs, and work overtime as needed. Training others and allergen awareness are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions on a regular basis.
• Fast-paced environment; use both hands.
• Stand for a full shift; lift up to 100 lbs.
• Push/pull wheeled bowls over 750 lbs.
• Overtime may be required; 40+ hours weekly.
• Basic math skills required; read/write English.
• Basic computer skills; operate scanner gun.
• Ability to tolerate allergens: peanut, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, shellfish.
• Train and coach new/existing employees.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures cake icing and fillings per specifications.
• Monitor cleanliness of mixing equipment during setup.
• Review ingredient needs and inventory daily.
• Record batch data, lot numbers, temps, and gravities.
• Enter information into warehouse management system.
• Adhere to GMP and safety policies; keep areas clean.
• Coordinate icing supply with line lead; report hazards.
• Back up for other icing mixers and Production Lead.
