Job summary

Best Maid Cookie Company in York, PA is seeking an Operator III - Machine Operator on the 2nd shift to set up and run equipment for cake production, iced and decorated according to specs, while following GMP and SQF food safety practices.

You will adjust tooling, monitor performance, read production schedules, and assist where needed. The role offers full-time hours and promotes safety and teamwork in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Math skills.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate scanner gun.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions on a regular basis.
• Must be able to stand and walk for a full shift.
• Must be able to work over 40 hours per week and 8 hours per day; overtime required.
• Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish.

Responsibilities

• Sets up equipment to proper settings for the line to run at required speeds.
• Reads production schedules and preps machines for next product run.
• Monitors equipment performance and reports faults to supervisor.
• Works with line operators and icing mixers as needed.
• Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices and keeps areas clean.
• Supports safety policies and reports hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
