Job summary

City of Holland, MI is seeking an Ice Park Manager for the Holland Ice Park during the winter season. This hands-on leadership role oversees staff, ice quality and safety, and guest experiences in a busy outdoor setting.

The position is part-time with night and weekend shifts (10-20 hrs per week, November through March). Prior supervisory or customer service experience is preferred, and CPR/First Aid training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 required.
• Ability to lift/carry approx. 50 lbs and perform manual labor such as shoveling snow.
• CPR/First Aid training preferred.
• Experience in an ice arena or recreation facility is a plus, not required.

• Respond calmly and effectively to safety incidents
• Ensure all required documentation and reports are completed accurately
• Enforce facility rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service
• Work primarily outdoors in winter conditions; extended standing and physical activity required

The Ice Park Manager is responsible for the overall daily operations of the Holland Ice Park during the winter skatingseason. This is a hands‑on, leadership position ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor recreation, managing people, and keepinga busy operation running smoothly.

• Appreciation for working with kids and families.
• Previous customer service experience required; supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Experience working in an ice arena or recreation facility is a plus, but not required.
• CPR/First Aid training preferred.
