Job summary

The City of Holland Ice Park is seeking an Administrator to support daily operations during the winter skating season, with a strong focus on communication, group sales, event coordination, and guest experience. This role works closely with Recreation Managers to ensure a smooth, welcoming environment for all visitors.

You will assist with administrative tasks, coordinate group reservations, support on-site staff, and help maintain an efficient front-line operation.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in person, on the phone, and through email.
• Ability to learn operational systems including reservation platforms, scheduling tools, and Ice Park procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily operations of the Holland Ice Park for both Summer & Winter.
• Coordinate group sales and reservations, including schools, rentals, birthday groups, private events, and community partners.
• Serve as the primary point of communication for Ice Park inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Support event coordination and logistics, including set up, communication with partners, and scheduling details.
• Help supervise and support Ice Park staff, providing direction and assisting with workflow.
• Assist in the management of front line functions as needed including admissions, skate rentals, and guest services.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe facility for all guests and staff.
• Assist with communication materials such as program updates, signage, announcements, and scheduling details.
• Enforce facility rules and maintain a positive, helpful presence in the plaza and rink area.
• Assist the team with administrative tasks such as reports, schedules, and documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
