Job summary

The Glass Jar is hiring an Ice Cream Scooper in Santa Cruz, CA to create a fun guest experience by scooping ice cream, building sundaes, and crafting milkshakes at The Penny Ice Creamery locations. You will also make coffee and tea drinks and toast marshmallow fluff for inspired treats.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work alone/ unsupervised.
• Must have availability during the week, weekends and holidays on a reliable basis.
• Must be available to work 20 hours a week on a reliable basis.
• Preference will be given to individuals with experience in food service, although we will train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Scoop ice cream and create ice cream sundaes and milkshakes.
• Make coffee and tea drinks for guests.
• Toast marshmallow fluff and assist with other novelty items.
• Provide a fun, memorable guest experience at all times.
