Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is hiring part-time Scoopers for our Seaport ice cream shop in Manhattan, NY. You will greet guests warmly, scoop and serve from the menu, and educate guests on flavors while upholding high hospitality standards.

This role offers flexible scheduling, the chance to earn tips, and a fun team environment. You must be at least 18, hold a food handler certificate, and be available to work 3 shifts per week, including late nights past 12 am.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Genuine passion for ice cream.
• Food handler certificate required.

Responsabilités

• Greet every guest warmly, with enthusiasm and genuine hospitality.
• Able to scoop and serve guests all menu items while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Serve as a Van Leeuwen Ambassador, educating guests on flavors, ingredients and special offerings.
• Prepare all fresh, house made menu items daily.
• Operate the Square POS System for a seamless checkout.
• Follow food safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock/inventory tasks.
• Complete daily tasks and adhere to shift requirements.
