Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is hiring part-time Scoopers for our Nolita shop in Manhattan, NY. We look for self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and have a genuine passion for ice cream.

Greet guests warmly, scoop and serve with quality, educate on flavors, and manage daily tasks while upholding safety and cleanliness standards. Availability for 3 shifts weekly, including late nights, is required.

Qualifications

• Comfort with standing and interacting with guests for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest warmly with hospitality.
• Scoop and serve all menu items while maintaining quality and presentation.
• Educate guests on flavors, ingredients and specials.
• Prepare fresh, house-made menu items daily.
• Operate the Square POS system for seamless checkout.
• Follow food safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock daily tasks.
• Follow safety, grooming, and uniform standards.
