Job summary

Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is hiring part-time Scoopers for our Brooklyn Heights shop in Brooklyn, NY. You will greet guests, scoop ice cream, and educate customers on flavors while maintaining high standards of hospitality in a fast-paced setting.

We offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay with tips, and opportunities for growth within a growing brand. Must be 18+, have a food handlers certificate, and be available to work at least three shifts per week, including late nights.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Genuine passion for ice cream and desserts.
• Food handlers certificate required.
• Avail able to work at least three shifts per week and past 12 am.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest warmly with hospitality.
• Scoop and serve menu items with quality and presentation.
• Educate guests on flavors and offerings.
• Prepare all fresh, house-made menu items daily.
• Operate Square POS for seamless checkout.
• Follow food safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock daily tasks.
