Sharks Sports and Entertainment, LLC is seeking a part-time, non-exempt Supervisor at Sharks Ice in Fremont. You will operate the facility, supervise staff in the absence of the General Manager and oversee ice maintenance, events, and security.

The role requires availability to work 2/3 of each month including evenings and weekends, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a cold environment. A year of relevant experience and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to wear SSE assigned uniform during all shifts.
• Ability to work various shifts, weekends, possibly holidays, and late nights.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a broad spectrum of contacts including employees, instructors, user groups, parents, coaches, athletes, and community.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• One year of relevant experience.
• Must be able to perform essential functions that are physically demanding.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.

Responsabilités

• Operate the facility and supervise staff in the absence of the General Manager and Supervisory Leads.
• Ensure shifts are staffed adequately when supervisors are away.
• Maintain ice surface and resurfacing techniques.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on building maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee rental skates and equipment upkeep.
• Assist with events, private ice rental, and parties.
• Handle cash responsibilities and secure funds at shift ends.
• Inventory Sharks Ice keys and radios.
• Ensure customer service standards and compliance with policies.
• Know emergency procedures and evacuation plans.
• Maintain cleanliness and secure facility at close.
• Monitor security cameras.
• Perform additional duties as required.
