Job summary

Sports Facilities Management, LLC is seeking an Ice Operations Supervisor for Elevance Health Rink at Morris Bicentennial Plaza in Indianapolis. The seasonal role oversees daily ice arena operations, maintains ice quality, and coordinates events, while leading staff and ensuring guest safety.

The position supports a variety of ice-related activities, from community skate sessions to private rentals, with emphasis on safety and high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with a wide variety of ages from preschool through adult.
• Knowledge of ice maintenance and rink operations is desirable.
• Experience in facility management, preferably in an ice arena.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• CIT certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the ice arena and scheduling.
• Maintain ice surface quality, resurfacing, and equipment upkeep.
• Manage staff and assist in events, games, and rentals.
• Record ice and equipment maintenance logs and readings.
• Ensure safety standards and enforce policies with guests.
• Act as manager-on-duty for opening/closing as scheduled.
• Coordinate setup/teardown for seasonal changes and events.
