Job summary

University of New Hampshire – Main Campus is seeking Crew & Ice Operators to support game days and arena rentals. Duties include operating ice resurfacing equipment and assisting with daily venue operations under WCA management.

Candidates should have a strong work ethic and professionalism, with preferred prior experience in arena operations. Hours are 10–15 per week, with night and weekend availability required. Compensation ranges from $14 to $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in arena operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate ice resurfacing equipment during UNH home games and ice rentals.
• Assist with arena maintenance as needed (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Perform ice maintenance duties as assigned.
• Ensure building equipment and public areas are safe and accessible, including snow removal in parking and arena entrances.
• Serve as point of contact or building supervisor during ice rentals when staff are absent.
• Open and close facility as scheduled and ensure it is secured at closing.
• Assist with set-ups and breakdowns for events and perform light janitorial tasks.
