Job summary

Qualifications

• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential.
• One year of relevant coding experience within the last six months.
• Passing score of 80% on pre-employment tests.
• EPIC/Optum experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM codes (professional or technical EM level) and surgical CPT codes at standard production rates and high quality.
• Validate APC assignments where applicable.
• Abstract clinical data accurately and mitigate coding-related edits.
• Coordinate with client staff and Savista as required.
