Job summary

Catholic Health Health Information Management Educator/Auditor provides provider coding education, including ICD-10 CM diagnosis selection and sequencing and correct E&M level selection across the enterprise. It collaborates with physicians, mid-level providers, enterprise leadership and provider billing leadership to ensure proper coding of services rendered.

It also onboards new providers to coding program requirements, audits 100% until 85% accuracy is reached, then moves to standard

Responsibilities

• Provide Provider Coding education including ICD-10 CM diagnosis selection and sequencing, and E&M level selection across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, enterprise leadership and provider billing leadership to ensure proper coding of services.
• Onboard new providers to coding program requirements and audit them at 100% until 85% accuracy is achieved, then transition to standard auditing.
• Partner with provider billing services and Revenue Integrity annually to disseminate and educate on new ICD-10 CM codes and CPT-4 updates.
