Job summary

IHA seeks a Compliance Auditor/Educator to serve as a subject matter expert on CPT, ICD and HCC coding, and as a primary contact for coding workflow across IHA offices. The role develops educational materials, guides workflows, and conducts provider education to improve documentation and compliance outcomes.

The position emphasizes audits, corrective action plans, and collaboration with the Compliance Team to align with payer requirements and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; CPTR/ICD/HCC coding knowledge is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years coding, reimbursement analysis, or auditing experience.
• Experience with primary care and multi-specialty care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead medical record integrity audits and coding education.
• Develop and deliver corrective action plans and educational materials.
• Respond to compliance issues via event reporting and ensure proper resolution.
• Collaborate with Compliance Team to maintain coding standards.
