Chenega Security SBU seeks a detail-oriented ICAM Badging Specialist to support access management at Kennedy Space Center. You will issue credentials, process requests, collect fingerprints, and maintain accurate records while upholding strict security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 2 years in badging, credentialing, access control, security administration, customer service, or related field.
• Ability to complete ICAM training and certification programs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance (not required to start).
• Flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays as needed.
• Background and drug screening successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Issue, update, and maintain access credentials, badges, and related authorizations.
• Process credentialing requests ensuring security requirements are met.
• Collect and process electronic fingerprints for identity verification.
• Review documentation for accuracy and eligibility.
• Manage badge lifecycle: renewals, replacements, suspensions, terminations.
• Recover credentials from departing personnel and maintain records.
• Update credentialing information in access management systems.
• Assist customers with badge issuance guidance and requirements.
• Collaborate with security, HR, and management on access operations.
• Protect sensitive information per policies and procedures.
• Support audits, inspections, and special projects.
