Job summary

UCSF is seeking an L&D Program Manager (Individual Contributors) to design and manage organization-wide career development and skill-building initiatives for non-managers. The role focuses on high-impact programs that help IC employees build meaningful, long‑term careers at UCSF and advance within their roles.

Working with HR partners, department leaders, and subject matter experts, you will map core competencies, create learning journeys, toolkits and interactive experiences to boost

Qualifications

• 5+ years of directly related experience in talent development and enterprise learning.
• End-to-End L&D program management in a complex environment (higher education or healthcare preferred).
• Career development pathways knowledge including competency models and skill-mapping.
• Strong consultative & diagnostic skills with ability to translate business needs into learning solutions.
• Excellent facilitation and coaching for diverse non-management audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and curate comprehensive career development journeys and toolkits.
• Lead workshops, cohort-based series, panels and peer mentoring in various settings.
• Oversee LMS integration, enrollments, and stakeholder communications.
• Establish evaluation frameworks (Kirkpatrick, ROI) and report outcomes to leadership.
