Job summary

UCSF is seeking an L&D Program Manager (Individual Contributors) to design and manage organization-wide career development initiatives for non-manager employees. You will map competencies, build learning journeys, and align programs with UCSF mission and values.

The role partners with HR Business Partners and department leaders to drive engagement, retention, and internal mobility across a healthcare and higher education context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in talent development or enterprise learning program management.
• Experience designing and launching enterprise career development programs in complex, matrixed environments.
• Strong consultative and diagnostic capabilities to identify root-cause skill gaps.
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design career development journeys and skill maps.
• Lead workshops, cohorts, and career panels across virtual, hybrid, and in-person settings.
• Oversee LMS integration and administer career pathways.
• Define KPIs, track impact, and report ROI to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with HR Partners and department leaders to align talent strategies.
