Job summary

EthosEnergy is seeking an Operations & Maintenance IC&E technician in Dallas, TX to install, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems at Mountain Creek Energy Center. The role requires strong DCS knowledge and hands-on electrical experience within a power plant environment.

You will diagnose instrument/control malfunctions, perform maintenance, coordinate with contractors, and support CMMS tasks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in power plant environments with DCS experience.
• High school diploma; formal instrumentation/electrical training preferred.
• Experience with ABB DCS, GE Mark V/VI, and Allen-Bradley PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair instrument/control system malfunctions, including transmitters and loops.
• Install electrical equipment and use test equipment per procedures.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance; generate/close work orders.
• Coordinate with outside contractors; manage safety and regulatory compliance.
• Support CMMS data entry and outage planning; update drawings as needed.
