Job summary

Reliability & Performance Technologies (R&P) seeks an SME in Interior Communications (IC) System Integration/Combat Systems to lead installation, testing and integration of critical shipboard IC and combat systems. You will work across Navy platforms to ensure end-to-end system readiness and verification.

The role requires hands-on testing of IC equipment, radar, and navigation systems, plus post-installation verification and support to government test teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with courses in algebra, geometry, trigonometry and physics.
• Associates degree in electronics technology or equivalent amphibious ship experience preferred.
• 3 years of practical combat system engineering duties including testing of Surface Combatant ship systems.
• Experience with interior communications equipment and systems, radar systems, and hydrostatic testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing and integration of interior communications and combat systems aboard ships.
• Perform EMI and radar system testing to ensure integration and operability.
• Analyze performance data to troubleshoot and resolve complex IC and combat system issues.
• Review technical test procedures for accuracy before execution.
