Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Newport News Shipbuilding seeks a Combat Systems Engineer Systems Test (EST3) to provide solutions for ETES test programs on Ford and Nimitz class carriers. You will develop, execute and oversee test plans, coordinate with waterfront management, design engineering, test engineering and NAVSEA, reporting progress to your supervisor.

Qualifications

ABET Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of exempt experience.
Master’s Degree with 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
Ph.D. with 0 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Synthesize customer contractual needs into system test solutions showing consideration for technical, schedule and cost constraints.
Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems.
Coordinate integrated testing activities and review test requirements to ensure completeness of the test program.
Perform technical analyses of complete systems and prepare system-level evaluations.
