Job summary

Slalom is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Consultant to drive projects across industries, leveraging IBP, S&OP, and analytics to transform client operating models and customer experiences. You will partner with clients, lead workshops, and deliver actionable insights that improve margins.

The role requires consulting experience, strong data/analytical skills, and the ability to travel as needed. Slalom values entrepreneurial energy, leadership, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Prior Consulting Background is highly preferred for Senior Consultant+ levels.
• IBP (Integrated Business Planning) and S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) required.
• Experience in one or more: Supply Chain Analytics, Sourcing & Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, Logistics & Fulfillment, or Manufacturing.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Entrepreneurial energy, creativity, empathy and leadership.
• Proficiency with MS PowerPoint and Excel; Tableau (or similar BI tool), SQL, Python or R a plus.
• Experience with supply chain systems (TMS, WMS, OMS, ERP, etc.), agile development and change management are a plus.
• Track record of presenting complex ideas and quantitative insights to executives.
• BA/BS degree in relevant fields.
• Willingness to travel depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects for supply chain organizations across industry sectors.
• Support, guide and manage initiatives related to IBP and S&OP.
• Partner with clients to innovate and transform business models and customer experiences using advanced analytics and emerging technologies.
• Use interviews, workshops and data insights to diagnose and solve problems impacting operating margin.
• Execute across analytics, technology, process and operating model design to create holistic solutions.
• Work independently, as a team member, or as a mentor to ensure successful project delivery.
• Build client knowledge, credibility and long-term relationships quickly at all levels.
