Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC seeks an experienced MFT specialist to design, implement, and support enterprise MFT solutions for secure data exchange with internal and external partners.

You will manage Axway Secure Transport and IBM Sterling Integrator, configure SFTP/AS2/FTPS/HTTPS, and lead onboarding from connectivity to production deployment. The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, incident resolution, and continuous improvement in reliability and scalability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with MFT tools (Axway Secure Transport and/or IBM Sterling Integrator).
• Strong knowledge of SFTP, AS2, and other file transfer protocols.
• Experience with ITX/ITXA and Sterling Integrator Mapping tools.
• Experience designing and supporting data transformations between EDI, XML, JSON, CSV, and Fixed-Length formats.
• Understanding of EDI (X12) transactions and data mapping concepts.
• Experience with partner onboarding and production support environments.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end partner onboarding including connectivity setup and trading partner configuration.
• Ensure secure data exchange in compliance with HIPAA and other standards.
• Monitor file transfers, troubleshoot failures, and ensure SLA adherence.
• Perform incident management and resolution focusing on MTTR reduction.
• Build and enhance monitoring, alerting, and logging for proactive issue detection.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to support data exchange requirements.
• Drive automation of onboarding and operational processes to reduce manual effort.
• Support continuous improvement in reliability, performance, and scalability of MFT operations.

Job description

Responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions to enable secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support MFT platforms (Axway Secure Transport and/or IBM Sterling Integrator)
• Configure and maintain file transfer protocols (SFTP, AS2, FTPS, HTTPS)
• Lead end-to-end partner onboarding, including:
• Connectivity setup
• Trading partner configuration
• File routing and validation
• Testing and production deployment
• Ensure secure data exchange in compliance with enterprise and regulatory (HIPAA) standards
• Monitor file transfers, troubleshoot failures, and ensure SLA adherence
• Perform incident management and resolution (ServiceNow) with focus on reducing MTTR
• Build and enhance monitoring, alerting, and logging for proactive issue detection
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to support data exchange requirements
• Drive automation of onboarding and operational processes (COLA initiatives) to reduce manual effort
• Support continuous improvement in reliability, performance, and scalability of MFT operations

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with MFT tools (Axway Secure Transport and/or IBM Sterling Integrator)
• Strong knowledge of SFTP, AS2, and other file transfer protocols
• Hands-on experience with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), ITX Advanced (ITXA), and/or Sterling Integrator Mapping tools.
• Strong experience designing and supporting complex data transformations between multiple file formats, including EDI, XML, JSON, CSV, and Fixed-Length files
• Understanding of EDI transaction sets and data mapping concepts
• Experience with partner onboarding and production support environments
• Understanding of EDI transactions (X12) and secure data exchange
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile environments
