Job summary

Ping Identity is seeking a Partner Sales Engineer to blend identity management expertise with a strong focus on customer success. You will join the sales team to engage in partner meetings, demonstrations, and proofs of concept, articulating the business and technical value of our IAM solutions.

The role emphasizes technical presentations, stakeholder engagement across levels, and travel up to 40%, primarily in the UK, with some international travel. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• ,Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or 3+ years in enterprise software in a customer-facing role
• Experience with IAM concepts and identity protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC)
• Familiarity with networking and cloud services
• Strong communication and workshop delivery skills
• Ability to link technical capabilities to customer business goals

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-sales activities including solution demonstrations, presentations, technical guidance, POC, and RfX responses
• Act as the go-to technical expert for customers, partners, and internal teams
• Establish enduring relationships with customers and become trusted advisor
• Collaborate with sales to drive revenue during Qualification, Discovery and Technical Proof Phases
• Coordinate pre-sales with post-sales service delivery team
• Lead customer-facing meetings via video and in-person, deliver demos and whiteboarding sessions
• Provide feedback on product enhancements and customer needs
• Mentor junior team members
• Develop SME knowledge of company solutions and serve as expert resource for others
• Travel 15% to 40%, mainly in UK with some international travel
