Job summary

Ping Identity is seeking a Professional Services Technical Consultant to lead architecture, installation, integration, and deployment of IAM solutions in client environments. You will collaborate with partners and internal teams, steering technical delivery from discovery through go-live and handover.

The role emphasizes designing secure, scalable IAM deployments across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments, with a focus on best practices and resilient architectures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in consulting in IAM space within a large organization
• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/IS or equivalent work-related level of experience
• Travel up to 50% of the time
• Experience with identity standards and protocols such as SCIM, HTTP/REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, OIDC, FIDO and LDAP
• Ability to design or deliver IAM solutions in cloud, hybrid, or on-premises environments
• Strong communication, both verbal and written
• Experience integrating IAM platforms with enterprise directories, applications, and identity systems
• Experience with identity protocols such as SCIM, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, LDAP

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical consulting to customers and partners across industries
• Evaluate client requirements and advise on best practices for proposed designs
• Assess current states and recommend future IAM solutions
• Lead design, implementation, and delivery of Ping Identity IAM solutions
• Install, configure, and deploy Ping Identity solutions to meet requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams on escalations requiring deployment expertise
• Develop technical materials such as best practices and delivery guides
• Mentor technical resources and ensure successful customer deployments
• Lead end-to-end delivery including discovery, design, testing, and go-live planning
• Design secure, scalable IAM deployments across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments
• Produce clear implementation documentation and runbooks
