Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Manager Identity & Access Management Engineering in Phoenix. You will lead the design, development, and modernization of IAM platforms, ensuring secure, scalable access solutions and strong governance across the enterprise.

Partnering with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Compliance, you will manage SailPoint ISC, DUO, Microsoft Authenticator, and BeyondTrust PAM, while guiding the IAM roadmap and leading a team in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of Active Directory security.
• Experience with identity lifecycle management processes.
• Experience developing authentication and authorization strategies.
• Experience preparing and reporting executive-level metrics to senior leadership.
• Experience with IT operations and service delivery in hybrid or on-prem environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain IAM policies, standards, and runbooks.
• Manage identity lifecycle, provisioning, and automated access workflows.
• Oversee RBAC, SoD, and access governance frameworks.
• Oversee privileged access management and monitoring of elevated rights.
• Manage SSO, MFA, federation, and related IAM platforms.
• Monitor IAM risks, regulatory compliance, and perform corrective actions.
• Lead IAM strategy, roadmap, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with business, IT, Compliance, and vendors; manage leadership communications.
• Lead and develop IAM teams, SLAs, and KPI/KRI reporting.
