Job summary

Travelers Insurance in Hartford, CT seeks a Director of Cybersecurity Engineering to lead multiple cybersecurity platforms, driving configuration, automation, and implementation across SailPoint IAM systems. You will be the primary liaison between cybersecurity and business leaders, ensuring alignment with goals and providing technical guidance to teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years in Information Technology Security Engineering or Software engineering.
5+ years SailPoint experience (IdentityNow and/or IdentityIQ).
Deep expertise in IAM concepts: IGA, SSO/Federation, MFA, RBAC, ABAC, Zero Trust.
Experience integrating SailPoint with enterprise directories and identity protocols.

Responsibilities

Architect, implement, and maintain SailPoint IdentityNow solutions at enterprise scale.
Oversee connector development and integration with SaaS applications.
Maintain lifecycle automation including JML workflows.
Lead RBAC design initiatives and access control strategies.
Coordinate with Internal Audit and Risk on access findings.
Own IAM support model including incident response and SLAs.
Establish tiered support for SailPoint platforms (L1/L2/L3).
Lead RCA for critical IAM incidents and remediation.
Manage on-call rotation for 24/7 identity services.
Oversee patching, upgrades, and health monitoring of SailPoint environments.
Develop runbooks and knowledge Base articles.
Monitor IAM KPIs/KRIs and access anomalies.
Drive Agile/Scrum delivery for IAM initiatives.
Plan resources and budget for IAM platforms.
